MY PERSONAL STORY REVEALED
I started blogging in May 2016. Just prior to launching I started researching ways to drive traffic, how to get followers, how to launch the blog, etc. You know, the basics. I came across several tools including Boardbooster.
It came with a free trial, so I gave it a whirl. I thought it was pretty cool but I was using it in conjunction with another paid tool ($39/month) that helped me locate valuable accounts to follow.
Because I was using both tools at the same time, it was kind of difficult to gauge how much Boardbooster was actually helping me. I used the other tool before on a few other Pinterest accounts (online stores I owned) and I knew how powerful it was and the rate it was growing my account.
The trial period ended on Boardbooster and I decided to give it a few weeks. I tried a third tool. The third tool trial came to an end and I decided to buy!
Later, I read a post on Pinterest. I wish I could find it to share but it talked about the power of using multiple tools to grow your Pinterest account. That’s when I decided to take the plunge and invest in the paid version of Boardbooster.
My goal was to eventually phase out the $39 tool I was using because it was just too expensive long term. I mean, almost 40 bucks a month is A LOT.
Even if this little blog was making several thousands each month, I still don’t think I could justify using a tool like that for a long time UNLESS the results were super fabulous.
And, while the results were pretty good, they weren’t on that super fabulous level I wanted so, I figured, using Boardbooster and the third tool I tried TOGETHER, would be a great match (and WAY LESS EXPENSIVE) than the $39 tool.
Did I lose you yet?
Wanna know what the third tool was? I talk all about it in this post.
