Congratulations! You’ve made the decision to open a dropshipping business.
You keep hearing about “dropshipping” and have decided to start a dropshipping business! Dropshipping is a great way to earn income as a business owner with little to no investment up front.
Here’s how it works:
WHAT IS DROPSHIPPING
Dropshipping allows you to be the middle man in the transaction process. Here’s an example:
You have an online store selling cat jewelry. A customer visits your store and purchases a cat necklace. After they place the order, you then order one cat necklace from your dropshipper. The dropshipper ships the order to the customer directly. That’s it!
You purchase the necklace from dropshipper at a wholesale price and charge the customer the retail price, keep the difference!

PRO TIP: If dropshipping from China I recommend you use epacket shipping (5-15 days) or Express shipping (UPS, FedEx, DHL). China Post can take 30-45 days. In the former dropshipping store I’ve run, the 30-45 day China Post shipping was my top customer gripe. Check out AliExpress.
So, you’ve chosen your niche, built your store, and found dropshippers.
Next is getting traffic to your store. Social media can help out with this. If you’re not on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or other social media outlets, get started creating your store profiles.

Make sure your profile name is the same or very similar across each network. Our past success of building our social media following to over 100,000 followers came from focusing on building up one network, which happened to be Instagram.
